Elite Jackpot Wether Sale- June 5, 2010, at Central Texas Livestock
Facility - Goldthwaite, TX. at 1:00 PM
We sponsor an annual
jackpot with a guaranteed $5000.00 for the Champion, $2,000.00 for Reserve
Grand Champion, $1000.00 for a class winner, $750.00 for 2nd places,
$500.00 for 3rd places, $250.00 for 4th places, and $125.00 for 5th place
winners. Each class winner also receives a monogrammed jacket with the
Lone Star Elite Jackpot Logo. Only goats sold by these producers are
eligible to compete in the jackpot. This year's jackpot will be held at
Snyder, Texas, on November 20, 2010, at 11:00 AM.
Winners will be drug tested. All goats sold by Schafer Farms are eligible
for this jackpot.

The Reserve Grand Champion at the Lone Star Elite
Jackpot 2004 was bred and sold by Schafer Farms and shown by Cade
Halfmann. That same wether went on to win the San Angelo Stock Show,
2005. Also shown by Cade Halfmann of Garden City, Tx. I don't have a
good picture of the Jackpot winner, but I do have a good picture of the
San Angelo winner, which was the same goat. The Elite Flag is our logo
for the jackpot. I am sending it along with this email for you to use
in the advertisement on our page. Also, besides Cade's first class
winner, we had another first place class winner shown by Macey Oppegard
of Grady, Tx.
Also, apart from the jackpot, we had the Reserve
Grand Champion 2005 at the National Western Livestock Show in Denver,
Colorado. Shown by Kelsey Chandler of Artesia, New Mexico. I will
also send a picture of her. Another win was Reserve Grand Champion of
the Wyoming State Fair 2004, shown by Lisa Reid of Brighton, Colorado. I
will send you a list of some more winners as I get them, or if you need
them.
Our Schafer Farms Club Goat Sale will be held at the
farm on Monday, June 14, 2010, at 7:00PM. Meal will be served at 5:30 PM.
Auctioneer will be Charles Jones, Blanco, Texas. Goats may be viewed by
Saturday, June 3, 2006. Remember, all goats sold by Schafer Farms will be
eligible for the Lone Star Elite Jackpot.
